The St. Joseph Police Department is investigating after a car struck a local church early Monday morning over the Memorial Day weekend.

St. Joseph Police report that the car struck a church at 1222 N. 18th Street around 1:40 am on Monday.&nbsp; Police report that they first got a call for an injury accident at the scene.&nbsp; The two who occupied the vehicle sustained no injuries, according to police.

St. Joseph Police assessed the damage at the Central Assembly of God, the church the car hit.&nbsp; It was reported that a vehicle hit the AC unit but there was no damage to the building.
