The Benton girl basketball team have again found their new head coach, after the departure of the coach hired back in May to replace Chris Michaels.
Former Benton assistant coach Rebecca Bailey has been named the new head coach. Bailey was going to be the assistant coach again this season before the departure of Barelli last month.
The St. Joseph School District will not comment on the departure of Barelli calling it a personal matter.
The Cardinals finished second in Class 4 last season with a 27-4 record.
