ATCHISON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man after a second drug arrest this month.
Just before 9:30p.m. Tuesday, police arrested 48-year-old Brian M. Johnston of Atchison in the 100 block South 5th Street in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
Johnston is being held on a District Court warrant for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
On January 17, police arrested Johnston in the 500 block Kansas Avenue in Atchison on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of an hallucinogenic drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Wilson.
During the arrest he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, synthetic cannabinoid, and drug paraphernalia.
