Gary Wilfred Pfeil, son of Herbert Lee and Mildred Muriel (Brindle) Pfeil, was born February 10, 1942 in Hamburg, Iowa.
He graduated from Rock Port High School, Rock Port, Mo. in 1960. After graduating he attended school in Kansas City, Mo. to be an auto mechanic.
On April 14, 1962 Gary was united in marriage to Barbara A. Walker at the First Lutheran Church in Rock Port. They made their home in Rock Port until 1981 when they moved to a home outside of Langdon, Mo.
Besides enjoying raising his three children and being a mechanic, Gary enjoyed his home on the bottom, along with fishing, hunting, and all of his black labs named "Lucky."
Gary passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the age of 80.
Survivors include his daughter, Sandra J. Pfeil, Lincoln, Neb, and son, Gary O. Pfeil, Rock Port, Mo; and two grandchildren, Zachary Miller and Jaiden Thompson.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, along with his wife, Barbara A. Pfeil in 2018; his sister, Charlotte Pfeil in 2015; brother, Carroll Pfeil in 2019; and his daughter, Deborah K. Miller in 2022.
A private inurnment will be held at Hunter Cemetery in Rock Port.
