Darold Ray Younger, 65, St. Joseph, Missouri, entered Heaven to cast his crown at the feet of Jesus, his Lord and Savior, Saturday, February 25, 2023.
He was born December 14, 1957 to Walter Jr. and Amelia R. (Aughinbaugh) Younger in St. Joseph, Missouri.
He graduated from Central High School in 1976 and then continued his education at Platte Community College.
Darold married Julene Marie Dahle on November 21, 2003.
He proudly and honorably served in the United States Marine Corps and United States Air Force Reserve.
He was a member of Restoration Church, Christian Motorcyclists Association (CMA), member of Carpenter’s L.U. #1529, and Elliott’s Scouts where he did Civil War reenactments. He was a past President of Fraternal Order of Eagles #49 and he also served as a State Trustee of the Missouri Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Darold had the mind of an engineer and was the ultimate craftsman. He enjoyed motorcycling, traveling, watching Chiefs games and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Jr. and Amelia Younger.
Survivors include his wife, Julene Younger of the home; children, Travis Drabek (Noelle), Heather Younger, Raymond Younger (Jaimie), Zannah Lewis (Curtis), Evony Tsovilis, Harrison Borske (Jude) and Justin Brookshire; 17 grandchildren; siblings, James W. Younger (Barbie Small) and Barbara Younger Heinrichs.
Service 3:00 P.M. Friday, Restoration Church. Visitation 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. Friday, Restoration Church. The family suggests memorial gifts to be sent to Restoration Church for the “Darold Younger Memorial”.
