NODAWAY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 5:30a.m. Tuesday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported 2019 Toyota Corolla driven by Donald S. Sullivan, 79, Conception Junction, was westbound at U.S. 71 at Route M ten miles north of Maryville.
The driver failed to stop at the stop sign at U.S. 71, traveled into the intersection and struck a northbound 2021 Freightliner semi driven by Zachary S. Mills, 29, St. Joseph.
Nodaway County ambulance transported to Sullivan to Mosaic Life Care. Mills was not injured.
Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
