Wanda Fern Noll, age 92, of Atchison, KS, died Sunday, September 24, 2023, at the Atchison Senior Village.
Private family services will be held with interment in Sunset Memory Gardens. Cremation care has been entrusted to the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.
Wanda was born on November 19, 1930, in Oak Mills, Kansas, the daughter of the late Charles G. Hoffman and Iris (Davies) Hoffman. She graduated from Atchison High School before attending Atchison Vo-Tech.
She worked as a secretary for Burkart Exterminators and later owned and operated Wanda’s Liquor Store until retiring. She enjoyed multiple trips to Las Vegas, she visited there over twenty-five times, for a week or more at a time and was well known at most of the local casinos.
She is survived by her children, Darla Enzbrenner, of St. Joseph, MO; a son, Dr. Nicholas (Laura) Noll, of Smithville, MO; her spouse and love of her life, David E. Pickman; her grandchildren, Curtis Noll,II, Amanda (Patrick) Myer, Sophia Enzbrenner, Rachel Noll, Nathan Noll, Ellie Noll, Allison Smith; seven great grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Ellen Noll.
Wanda married James W. Noll on October 22, 1950, at the Carol Baptist Church in Atchison; he preceded her in death on August 15, 1976. She is also preceded in death by her son, Curtis Cameron Noll; a grandson, Bradley David Noll; and a sister, June Swordy.
