Nancy Ann (Francis) Blenden, 64, of St. Joseph, passed away Friday, June 9, 2023 at her home. She was born April 18, 1959 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of Adrienne and Herbert Francis.
She graduated from Bishop LeBlond High School, class of 1977. Nancy had last worked for the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce as a Secretary. She loved visiting with her friends and taking care of others, working word search puzzles, and her game shows. She also enjoyed spending time being outdoors, especially tending to her flowers and plants, and listening to music while dancing.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, and brother-in-law, Bill Clinton.
Survivors include: son, Chad (Lisa) Blenden of St. John's, FL, daughter, Alexis Blenden of El Dorado, AR, sisters, Debi (Bill) Clinton of St. Joseph, and Jennifer (Frank) Baber, of Olathe, KS, grandchildren, Asytyn, Chase, Colton, and Adam Blenden, great-granddaughter, Caelyn Blenden, nephews, Josh and Nick Newton and Jeremy Baber, niece, Kaylee Clinton, great-nieces, Adrianna Clinton and Emma Newton, great-nephews, Dylan, Caleb, Ayden, and Gabe Newton, her friends and caregivers, Lisa Chalfant and Lisa Gabriel.
Ms. Blenden has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 17, 2023 at the Rupp Funeral Home with Deacon Marcelino Canchola, officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday at Rupp Funeral Home.
