Geneva Leslie, 88, of Kansas City, MO passed away, July 12, 2024.
She was born on July 20, 1935 to Ivan and Eva Mae (Claude) Croxell in Correctionville, Iowa on the farm. The farmhouse didn’t have water or electricity. She grew up and attended school in Dennison, Iowa.
On February 8, 1963 he was united in marriage to Donald Owen Leslie. After their marriage they lived in Sioux City and in 1966 they moved to Kansas City where they made their home. After their retirement, they moved to Lake Pomme De Terre and filled their time with their grandchildren.
Geneva was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed gardening.
Geneva was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Estil, Fern, Opal, Pauline, Russell, Ivan Jr, and Lucille.
She is survived by her husband, Owen, of the home; children, Virginia (David) Hamby, Richard Leslie, Ken Leslie, Nickie Spencer, and Derrick (Peggy) Leslie; eighteen grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
