Samuel Hunter DeFord, 26, of Trimble, MO passed away on June 8, 2024.
He was born on January 12, 1998 in Omaha, NE. Sam grew up in Omaha, NE and Plattsburg, MO.
Sam was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Plattsburg. Sam was currently attending Maple Woods Community College for Construction Management. He was working on becoming a good leader at his job and in life. Sam was very active in his Narcotics Anonymous recovery groups. The friends he made during recovery were a big part of his life. Sam enjoyed fishing, camping and riding his motorcycle.
Sam was preceded in death by his sister, Alex DeFord.
He is survived by his father, Brent (NeQuelle) DeFord; mother, Rhonda DeFord; brother, Ben (Alyssa) DeFord; step-siblings Eric, Miranda, Mathew, and Patrick; nieces and nephews Abagail, Isabella, Aliveia, Andrew, Aeryn-Jo, William, and Asher; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial Service: 12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 15th at the First Baptist Church in Plattsburg with visitation one hour prior to the service.
