After five seasons at the helm, Benton girls basketball coach Chris Michaels is stepping down.
In five seasons at Benton, Michaels led the Lady Cardinals to four final four appearances, and three second place finishes, the most recent one coming this past season. Before taking over the Benton program, Michaels was the head coach at North Andrew for two seasons.
Michaels has accepted the head girls basketball job at Jefferson City High School.
