St. Joseph police are looking for three young men, suspected of shooting into a car late Sunday night.

The driver, a juvenile who was the only occupant of the car, was not wounded, but did suffer minor injuries from broken glass.

Police say the shooting began shortly before 11 o’clock last night in the 300 block of West Valley in south St. Joseph. Police suspect three young men were responsible. No one is in custody at this time.

St. Joseph police officers also responded to a separate shooting call early Monday morning. Police say several residents called 9-1-1 around two o’clock this morning to report shots fired in the vicinity anywhere from 28th and Mitchell to 22nd and Messanie. Officers attempted to narrow the search, but were unable to locate any evidence of a shooting in the area.
