Ricky Baker, 62, Maysville, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024.
He was born July 7, 1962 to Marvin E. and Mary A. (Duckworth) Baker in St. Joseph, Missouri.
He graduated from Maysville High School in 1980.
From the age of 9, he worked and dedicated his life helping run the family business, Baker’s Hardware. He had his start selling fireworks in the front window. From there, he progressed to co-owner and an essential figure in the business.
Ricky enjoyed hot rods and riding motorcycles. He grew up fishing and hunting with his Grandpa Willis and his Dad Marvin. He also enjoyed camping.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his uncle, John Charles Baker; sisters, Gene Arnold and Jo Deshon (Dave); stepson, Travis; extended family and friends.
Visitation 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. Sunday, December 8, Simplify Cremations & Funerals. Inurnment at a later date, Memorial Park Cemetery.
