Mildred Lorene Meyn passed away peacefully on February 4, 2025, in Cedar Park, Texas. She lived an active 102 years and was loved by all.
Mildred was born September 3, 1922 in Columbus, Nebraska, to Herman and Louise (Brunken) Karlin. Baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Columbus, Nebraska. Mildred graduated from Columbus High School and Chillicothe Business College, Chillicothe, Missouri. On June 6, 1943, Mildred married Wilbur N. Meyn in Columbus, Nebraska.
She is survived by three daughters, Kathleen (Scott) Fichter of Cedar Park, Texas, Betty Meyn of Waukee, Iowa, and Marilyn (Galen) Seehafer of Hunter, Texas; four grandchildren, Jennifer McMillin, Scott (Amy) Fichter, Megan Seehafer, and Sabrina Seehafer; six great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Ashley, Amber, Siena, Rowan, and Mila; brother, Gerald (Nadene) Karlin of Overland Park, Kansas; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur, of 53 years.
