A St. Joseph man is being treated for a life-threatening wound after a shooting near Corby Pond.
St. Joseph police report the shooting took place near 22nd Street and Northeast Parkway late Friday night. Police say officers pulled the victim over at 36th Street and Frederick Avenue as he was trying to drive to the hospital. Officers began emergency treatment until Buchanan County EMS arrived to take him to the hospital.
The victim’s car had two bullet holes in the driver’s side. It also had a flat tire.
The investigation continues.
