Marilyn Shanks, 79, passed away on October 8, 2023. Born May 18, 1944 in St. Joseph, MO to Michael and Elsie (King) Turner.
Marilyn graduated from Benton High School in '62.
She married Ronald Shanks on April 23, 1977.
She attended Grace Church, enjoying Sunday school and the warm fellowship it brought. She also derived great joy from outings with her Round Table friends, a group that shared love and friendship.
In her passing, Marilyn leaves behind her son, Jeffrey Churchill and stepson, Patrick Shanks; grandchildren, Cory and Heather Shanks, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Carolyn Deatherage.
Remembered for her loving heart, Marilyn's legacy will live on through the lives she touched. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
Graveside Farewell Services and Interment 1:00 P.M. Thursday, Memorial Park Cemetery. The procession will leave from Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
