ATCHISON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on charges after an alleged fight.
Just before 2a.m. on Sunday police responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 1200 block North 8th Street in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
A 44-year-old man reported being struck in the head and face by Christopher Ricklefs. Ricklefs had left the scene but was taken into custody a short time later. EMS transported the victim to Amberwell Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Christopher C. Ricklefs, 43, Atchison, was arrested on requested charges of aggravated battery .
