ATCHISON COUNTY, Kan. —Two drivers avoided serious injury after a crash that occurred just before 10a.m. Sunday in Atchison.

Police Chief MikeWilson reported a&nbsp;2004 Dodge Ram driven by Richard Dyer, 63, Atchison, was northbound on 10th Street at Main Street in Atchison. The pickup rear-ended&nbsp; of a 2009 Ford Focus driven by Jessica Stecker, 37, Atchison. EMS was on the scene and examined both drivers but no one was transported. Dyer was cited for following too close. Stecker was cited for no insurance.
