Ella Reece Ann Scott 17, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023. She was born July 25, 2005 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of Emily Gallus and Cory Scott.
She graduated from Platte County High School, class of 2023, and she also attended the Northland Career Center, where she studied Culinary Arts. Ella worked in the Food Service Department at Liberty Hospital. She held both Orange and Black Belts in Tae Kwon Do, and she had participated in Robotics Competitions. Ella had the most amazing red curly hair. She loved trying new foods, and she loved her plants. She was an avid gardener, and loved spending time with her friends and playing video games, especially Adventure Time.
Ella was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Cara Ann Ferrier, maternal step-grandmother, Angela Gallus, and paternal grandparents, Randy and Shelly Scott.
Survivors include: her mother, Emily Gallus (James Pratt) of Weatherby, MO, her dad, Cory Scott of Platte City, MO, maternal step-grandfather, Steve Ferrier of Easton, MO, maternal grandfather, Stephen Gallus of Weatherby, MO, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Ms. Scott has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. A Celebration of Ella's Life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Iva Mae Event Center in Country Club, MO.
