St. Joseph health officials report two new coronavirus-related deaths even as the COVID-19 pandemic eases in this area.
The St. Joseph Health Department reports a man and a woman, both in their 80s, have died of COVID-19. The department reports the deaths occurred last month, but have just now been reported.
The department reports 38 new COVID-19 cases since last issuing a report on Monday; 17 on Tuesday, five on Wednesday, and 16 on Thursday.
Andrew County reports only two active COVID-19 cases on its COVID-19 Dashboard with only one case reported in the last week.
Mosaic Life Care reports its COVID-19 inpatient count is minimal. Mosaic does not report coronavirus patient numbers if they fall below ten.
