Billy Joe "Bill" VanHoutan 58, of St. Joseph, MO, passed away Friday, August 4, 2023 at his home in St. Joseph, MO. He was born November 27, 1964 in St. Joseph, MO, son of the late Janice and Donald VanHoutan.
He worked in the roofing industry most of his life, and enjoyed spending time outside, hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Tom, Ronald, and Danny VanHoutan.
Survivors include: wife, Marla "Ilene" VanHoutan of the home, three daughters; Leslie Cook, Heidi Robinson, and Lori (Robert) Shea, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and his sister, Diana Riggs.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream; 7:00 pm, Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at the Rupp Funeral Home.
