Judith Ann Hoffman 86, of St. Joseph, MO, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023 at an Oregon, MO care center. She was born February 23, 1937 in Chicago, IL, daughter of Mary and Robert Hoffman.
She graduated from Benedictine College in Atchison, and worked at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic School as an Elementary Teacher. She enjoyed embroidery, quilting, and reading. Judith was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in St. Joseph.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and granddaughter, Elizabeth Hall.
Survivors include: children, Teresa (Brian) Faust of St. Joseph, MO, Chris (Melissa) Weidmaier of Lansing, KS, John (Lisa) Weidmaier of Metuchen, NJ, Mary (Don) Hall of Stephenville, TX, and Tom (Tina) Weidmaier of North Kansas City, MO, sisters, Nancy (Bob) Turner-Neis of Milwaukee, WI, Barbie Swartz of St. Joseph, MO, and Debbie Smith of Pekin, IL, brothers, Denny and Tim Hoffman, 14 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Commemoration will be at 1:00 pm Monday, August 21, 2023 at St. Mary Catholic Church. Father, Joe Powers, officiant. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church. The Inurnment will follow at the Mount Olivet Cemetery.
