2 adults, child hospitalized after car rear-ends UTV

NODAWAY COUNTY —Three people were injured in an accident just after 11:30a.m. Saturday in Nodaway County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Ford Focus driven by Kole K. Thompson, 23, Bedford, IA., was southbound on MO 146 two miles north of Maryville.

The Ford rear-ended a 2020 John Deere Gator driven by Gary D. Stiens. 65, Maryville, who was slowing to turn into a private drive.

Nodaway County EMS transported Stiens and passengers in the Ford Brend A. Thompson, 23, and a 5-year-old girl both of Bedford, IA., to Mosaic in Maryville.  Kole Thompson was not injured.

The occupants of the Ford were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
