Joy Hodge, 73, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Monday, December 18, 2023, at home after a lengthy illness.
She was born on September 20, 1950, to Harold L. and Gladys I. (Frame) Beers.
Joy worked for Meade Paper Products for 25 years, and after parting ways she finished nursing school to pursue a career as an LPN. Joy was a caring, compassionate woman and her nursing career brought her great joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Alberta Benton; twin brother, Roy L. Beers, and son, Christopher L. Hodge.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Dalton Hodge, son, Travis W. Hodge, and numerous nieces and nephews.
