Young people of the Show-Me state will show off their industrial talent at the state capitol Tuesday the 21st, including Saint Joseph's Youth Alliance.
The Missouri YouthBuild Coalition is hosting a Capitol Day event to showcase industry skills for construction and other high-demand fields. YouthBuild's trainees will build park benches, raised garden beds, and picnic tables.
The event is part of a statewide initiative "Missouri-Building Missouri", with the aim to shorten the skill gap between young Missourians and employers with practical training and real world experience.
