David Ray Pyles Jr., 56, of DeKalb, Missouri passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025 at his home. He was born February 9, 1969 in St. Joseph, MO, son of Carlene and David Pyles Sr. He attended DeKalb High School. David worked at Blue Scope as a Stradle Carrier. He enjoyed jug fishing, mushroom hunting, riding dirt bikes, fixing up old cars, spending times with his boys and his family. He was a member of the DeKalb Christian Church.
David was preceded in death by mother, Carlene Jolly. Survivors include wife, Megen J. Pyles, sons; Riley and Jacob Pyles of the home, father, David R (Carol) Pyles Sr. of St. Joseph, sisters, Tonya (Chad) Morse, Dearborn, MO, and Kawana Neaves, Lenexa, KS, step sisters, Joy Gill, and Aletha Hughes, step brothers: Josh Jolly and Jeremy Seckel.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM on Wednesday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream; 10:00 am, Thursday, May 1, 2025 at the Rupp Funeral Home, Jared Hamilton officiating. The Interment will be at the Sugar Creek Cemetery.
