BROWN COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 11:30a.m. Thursday in Brown County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2018 Ford F150 driven by Roland Keller, 59, Hiawatha, was northbound on U.S. 73 Highway five miles south of Hiawatha.
The pickup rear-ended a 1999 Peterbilt semi driven by Dale G. Stirton, 74, Horton, that was slowing to turn westbound onto 170th Street.
EMS transported Keller to the hospital in Hiawatha. Stirton was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
