Pamela I. Wardlow, age 83, of Troy, KS, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving children.

Pamela was born on April 4, 1942 in Springfield, Massachusetts to Patricia Borecki and Harrison Prince.

Pamela met her beloved husband, James, in Springfield, Massachusetts, while he was stationed there with the United States Air Force. Following their wedding, the couple made their home in Troy, Kansas, where they began building their life together and raising their family.

Pamela was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She found joy in gardening and bird watching, was dedicated to her Bible studies, loved playing games, and cherished every moment spent with her family.

She is proceeded in death by her loving husband, James R. Wardlow, Sr., her parents, Patricia Borecki and Harrison Prince and her sister Patricia Turner.

She is survived by her children, James R. Wardlow, Jr. (Justine) of Lawrence, Kansas; David S. Wardlow (Merrie) of Troy, Kansas; Debra J. Moore (Roger) of St. Joseph, Missouri; Kimberly D. Smith (Casey) of St. Joseph, Missouri; and Sandra J. Lawrence (Greg) of Kansas City, Missouri.

She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Quillan Wardlow, Audrey Wardlow, Benjamin Wardlow, Brayden Langford (Credine Moore), Jaxon Moore, Sean Wardlow, Devin Smith (Macy), Lizzi Smith, Logan Lawrence, and Bella Lawrence; as well as her great-grandchildren, Greyson and Wrenley Langford.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 22, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Troy, Kansas. The funeral service will be held at the same location on Monday, February 23, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Bellmont Cemetery in Wathena, Kansas. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church, Troy, Kansas.

Family and friends are invited to return to the United Methodist Church in Troy for a luncheon immediately following the burial service. Harman-Rohde Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
