Patricia Ann “Pat” Daniels, 67, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024.
She was born July 18, 1956 in St. Joseph to Delbert and Betty (Smith) Wilfong. Pat grew up in St. Joseph.
Pat married Michael Eugene Daniels on May 20, 1976. They later divorced.
She was a CNA for area nursing homes for many years.
Patricia enjoyed taking care of others, even as her own health failed. She was a “mother hen,” making sure everyone had something to eat and was taking their meds.
Pat loved to read romance novels and cook. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing guitar.
Family was important to Pat, and she loved spending time with the grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Nakai Lewis; former husband, Michael E. Daniels; and siblings, Anna DeSpain, Delbert D. Wilfong, Jr., Deborah Shewman, Sandra Helton and Carol Helton.
Survivors include her children, Michele Sansonetti and Mark Daniels; grandchildren, Chelsea, Sage and Tristan Sansonetti; sister, Cheryl Wetmore; brother, Rick Wilfong; numerous other extended family members and friends.
