2 hospitalized after 86-year-old driver missed stop sign

GENTRY COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 7a.m. Tuesday in Gentry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Buick Lucerne driven by Charles H. Ochse, 86, Helena, Montana, was eastbound on Pomeroy Street just east of Mill in Darlington.

The driver failed to stop at a stop sign. The vehicle traveled off the road.

Grand River EMS transported Ochse and a passenger Lois P. Ochse, 85, Helena, Montana, to Mosaic in Albany.  They were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
