Paul Klein, 74, St. Joseph, Missouri; passed away September 30, 2023, with his devoted wife by his side.
Paul was born on July 7, 1949 in St. Joseph, Missouri, to the late Neil and Doris (Gouvin) Klein. He was a lifelong resident of St. Joseph, and was raised of the Catholic faith. Paul was a graduate of Christian Brothers High School Class of 1967.
Mr. Klein served his country in the Missouri Air National Guard for seven years.
Paul followed in his father's footsteps, who started Klein Motors in St. Joseph in 1946. He started working on the lot in grade school and would later become owner and operator of Klein Motors until his passing. Paul loved any and everything to do with cars, and the faster the better. He had a passion for sprint car racing at the Savannah Speedway, was an avid NASCAR fan and was a former member of the Corvette Club.
Paul had an infectious personality and was always the life of any party. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Paul married Gracie Huffman on July 6, 1977 in Miami, Oklahoma. To that union, they had a daughter, Carla, who worked alongside her mother and father until her passing in 2011.
Paul is survived by his wife, Gracie, Gemma and countless friends.
A Private Family Graveside Service was held.
