Baseball
The Chillicothe tournament got underway Thursday. Lafayette beat Kirksville in their first game 6-5, but lost to Chillicothe in the second, 12-2. The tournament resumes Friday, weather permitting.

Boys’ golf
Numerous teams competed in the Savannah tournament at Duncan Hills Thursday, and Lafayette took first as a team. Sam Ryan took first individually, shooting an 80. Jackson Compton placed fourth with an 85.

Bishop LeBlond placed first at the Maryville Best Ball meet at Mozingo Lake Golf Course with a team score of 136.

St. Joseph Central and Staley finished in a tie with team scores of 168.  Jaxon Nurski led the Indians with a 37, followed by Andrew Wheatley and Jax Patterson (both with 43). Blake Vejraska (45) rounded out the team score of 168.

Track and field
Numerous area teams took part in the Spoofhound Relays Thursday afternoon in Maryville. The Spoofhound boys took home first place in dominating fashion with 237 points. The Cameron girls won with 170 points.

The High School track meet at North Andrew today was canceled.
