UPDATED WITH IDENTITY AND MORE INFORMATION
A young motorcyclist died, another suffered injuries in a multi-motorcycle crash at North Belt and Blackwell in the early morning hours of Wednesday.
The St. Joseph Police Department identifies the person killed in the crash as 23-year-old Tristian Plumley of St. Joseph.
St. Joseph police officers responded to the scene shortly before two o’clock and found the two individuals. The other subject, not identified by police, was taken for medical treatment. Plumley was rushed to the hospital, but died of his injuries.
Initial reports indicated a third motorcyclist might have been involved in the wreck, but fled the scene. The St. Joseph Police Department released a photo and asked anyone with information to contact the department.

UPDATE: St. Joseph police report the 3rd motorcyclist has been identified.
