Roberto Gonzalez, 63, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023.
He was born on July 23, 1959, in Havana, Cuba. He was raised by his mother, Mirtha Magdalena.
He grew up in Cuba, and eventually moved to the United States as a refugee. He worked as a residential painter for several years.
Roberto enjoyed his morning coffee with extra sugar, going for walks, painting and spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. He helped raise his granddaughter, JoJo “Chunky Chunky”, and especially loved spending time with her. He was always there for his family.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Survivors include his daughters, Cristina Gonzalez, Jessica Gonzalez and Sara Gonzalez; grandchildren, Carmine, Aleah, Cyia, JoJo, Timmy and Royel; the mother of his children, Deborah Flores, and extended family and friends in Cuba.
