Interstate 29 southbound is set begin overnight closings, starting Wednesday, for girder work on the Gene Field Road Bridge in Saint Joseph.
From 7 PM to 10 AM, southbound traffic will be narrowed to one lane, and rolling closures of the road for up to 15 minutes will occur between 10 PM and 4 AM.
The girders over the northbound lanes will undergo similar work April 28th and 29th.
The current expected wrap-up date for the Gene Field Road bridge is currently set for July.
