CLINTON COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 8a.m. Wednesday in Clinton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Chevy 2500 driven by a 38-year-old Plattsburg man and a 2017 Dodge Durango driven by a 33-year-old Cameron woman were eastbound on MO 116 at Vandeau Road two miles east of Plattsburg.
The SUV stopped to wait for a vehicle to turn northbound. The Chevy cleared a hill crest and struck the Dodge. Tri-County EMS transported the SUV driver to Cameron Regional Medical Center. The pickup driver was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
