Jonathan “Jon” Lee Bunse 1975 – 2024
Clarksdale, Missouri…Jonathan Lee Bunse, 48, of Clarksdale, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024. He was born April 18th, 1975 in St. Joseph, Missouri, to Tom and Joyce (Lawson) Bunse. Jon married April (Overturf) Bunse in 1996, and became the father of Breanna and Emma Bunse. September 10, 2019, he was blessed with his third daughter, Adria Bunse. January 3, 2023, was married to Moureen Ann (Kajumba) Bunse.
Jon was a 1993 graduate of Maysville High School. He later went on to become a talented, self-employed craftsman for Custom Crafters Cabinets.
Jon was a dedicated, strong and resilient father who made sure his kids obtained those same attributes. While we lost our most beloved Jon, many have lost a friend. There was so much more to Jon than just a dad or husband, though to us, that was his greatest role. He was also a friend, a coworker, colleague, cousin, brother, stand-in paternal figure to the fatherless, and the list goes on. His love and strength will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his wife, Moureen Ann (Kajumba) Bunse and his three daughters: Breanna, Emma, and Adria Bunse.
A visitation only will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Turner Family Funeral Home of Maysville.
