Joshua Isaiah Banks, 33, Elwood, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024.
He was born June 26, 1991 in St. Joseph to Lashel Carpentier and Luther Banks.
Joshua was a very kind-hearted person who would do whatever he could to help others. He loved his family, especially his mother and brother.
He enjoyed watching the Chiefs and playing basketball.
Joshua was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Vearl Webb and Juanita Webb; grandparents, Nita Carpentier, Richard Carpentier, Anna Banks, and Finest Banks; and aunt, Stephany Carpentier.
Survivors include his mother, Lashel Carpentier (Joseph), brother, Christian “C.J.” Banks; aunts and uncles, Jamie Carpentier, Kristian Boydston (Randy), Elizabeth McGuire (Bill), Bryan Liechti (Nicky), and Bonnie White; and numerous cousins.
Farewell Services and Public Livestream 3:00 P.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will gather with friends 1:30 to 2:30 P.M. Friday prior to the service.
