Evergy is continuing work to restore power to areas impacted by storms on Monday across both northwest Missouri and Kansas, with over 31,000 outages reported last night in northwest Missouri.
According to the Evergy outage map, just over 3,500 customers remain without power in Missouri, with just over 2,600 customers in Kansas still effected following the storms. In St. Joseph, many Evergy customers have had power restored, with some outages will remaining
Severe storms blew across the region Monday night, causing varying amounts of damage. High winds brought downed power lines and trees.
