ANDREW COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just before 5p.m. Tuesday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2022 Toyota Tundra driven by a 58-year-old St. Joseph man was southbound on U.S. 169 one and one half miles north of St. Joseph. The driver failed to yield a northbound 2017 Hyundai Accent drven by a 49-year-old St. Jospeh man as the vehicles attempted to turn on to County Road 307. The Toyota struck the left front wheel well of the Hyundai.
A private vehicle transported the Hyundai driver and his 48-year-old female passenger to Mosaic Life Care. The pickup driver was not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
