Boys' district golf results
The Bishop LeBlond boys' golf team are district champions and qualify for state as a team for a seventh consecutive season. The Eagles finished with a team score of 314 at Hodge Park Golf Course in Kansas City.

Maryville finished second at 335 and also qualify for state as a team. Individually, Lafayette's Sam Ryan and Jackson Compton are headed for state, as is Benton's Carson Newlon. 

Elsewhere, at the Class 1 District 4 meet in Excelsior Springs, Gallatin took the district title with a score of 360. East Buchanan was third with a 406.

Stanberry's Landon Marticke and East Buchanan's Carson Thompson qualified for state as individuals.

In Class 5, St. Joseph Central’s Andrew Wheatley and Jaxon Nurski qualified for state. This is Wheatley’s second time making state. The Indians competed at Shirkey Golf Course in Richmond.

The Savages and Spoofhounds compete for the Class 1 District 16 on Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Savannah High School.

In Class 3, St. Joseph Central topped Park Hill South in district quarterfinals 5-3. The Indians will face No. 1 seed Park Hill in semifinals on Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Park Hill High School.
