ATCHISON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 9p.m. Saturday in Atchison County, Kansas.
According to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson, a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle ridden by Jeremie Hetz, 54, Atchison, was southbound in the 700 block North 12th Street. The motorcycle struck a street barricade sign and crashed.
Hetz was able to ride the motorcycle to his residence nearby and was subsequently taken to Amberwell Hospital by private vehicle for treatment of injuries. He was cited for driving while suspended, according to Wilson.
