A local Kansas City rapper will be the headline act of the Red Rally in St. Joseph.
Hip-hop artist Tech N9ne will be the featured performer at the Red Rally, the official kickoff pep rally for Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp, at Civic Center Park on July 29th.
The event will begin at 2pm with a pre-rally before country artist Blaine Howard, who Chiefs fans might know for his song. "Run it Back," an anthem for the Chiefs 2020 season, will perform at 4:45.
Voice of the Chiefs Mitch Holthus will kick off the rally at 6pm with Mayor John Josendale presenting a key to the city to KC Wolf. Also expected to perform at the rally, are the Chiefs Cheerleaders, the KC Rumble, and the Missouri Western Mystics dance team. Max the Griffon will also make an appearance.
Tech N9ne will then take the stage for a three song set, featuring his Chiefs anthem 'Red Kingdom.' Fans are encouraged to wear red, bring a lawn chair, and find a spot to enjoy the rally.
Following the rally, the Sound of Summer concert series will feature the band Swift Kik.
