CLINTON COUNTY —A Missouri man died in an accident just after 3p.m. Saturday in Clinton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2011 GMC Acadia driven by by Forest Younce, 56, Higginsville, was southbound in the northbound lanes of U.S. 169 just south of County Road 223 two miles south of Grayson.
The GMC struck the rear of a northbound 2011 Dodge Ram driven by Rosalyn L. Jones, 50, Plattsburg and the front of a 2020 Jeep Gladiator driven by Molly M. Ray, 39, Kearney, Missouri. After impact, the Dodge rolled off the east side of the road.
Younce was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Frontier Forensics. Lifenet transported Jones to KU Medical Center. A private vehicle transported Ray to Mosaic in St. Joseph. Younce was also not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
