During a public meeting on Tuesday, the Missouri Department of Transportation gave an update on the plans for the Interstate 229 double decker bridge project
The I-229 double decker bridge has been a staple of downtown St. Joseph, but with the bridge near the end of it's lifespan, the plan now is to replace it with a four-lane roadway, however downtown exits still have yet to be decided on.
