A dog named Fred had a scary winter day when he fell through a frozen pond in his owner's yard. After being in the pond for about half an hour, Fred's owners called the St. Joseph Fire Department for help. Multiple units responded and were able to save Fred from the cold water. Fred made a full recovery with the help of warm blankets and cuddles from the firefighters and his family.
