Mildred Louise Chenoweth 89, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025 in St. Joseph. She was born November 16, 1935 in Halls, MO, daughter of the late, Myrtle and Archie Boyer. She married Frank on June 6, 1953, and the rest was history. She worked at Peach Tree Door putting the glass into the doors. Mildred loved her bowling and bingo, she had tons of bowling trophies and jackpot wins to prove it. She could always be found at her grandchildren's baseball games, for her, family was always number one. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, brother, Alva Lee Boyer, sisters, Bonnie Mae Downing, Roberta "Sis" Horseman, and Margaret Lucille Ashlock.
Survivors include: son, Carl (Cheri) Chenoweth of Amazonia, MO, daughters, Carla Chenoweth and Cheryl (Rodney) Matthews, brothers, Robert (Fanny) Boyer of St. Joseph, MO, and Patrick (Rita) Boyer, sisters, Lona Arnold of Joplin, MO and Pam Ranney of Saint Joseph, MO, grandchildren, Anita, Carl Jr. (Heather), Jeffrey (Tara), Jimmy, and Derek (Ashley), and great-grandchildren, Brendon, Hannah, Karly, Cadence, Isaac, Kendal, Braiden, Emillie, and McKynlee.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, Monday, October 20, 2025 at Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream; 11:00 am, Monday, October 20, 2025 at Rupp Funeral Home, The Interment will follow at Savannah Cemetery.
