Marilyn L. Tiller Robinson, 88, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
She was born September 3, 1936 in St. Joseph to Thomas and Constance (Garish) Talbot.
Marilyn married Robert E. Tiller on September 23, 1953. He preceded her in death on October 31, 1994. She later married Billy E. Robinson on February 14, 1999. He preceded her in death on December 12, 2021.
She was secretary for the Grandview School District Superintendent for many years.
Marilyn served the Lord as a longtime member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, where she was very active in the choir and many other church activities. She also was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Marilyn enjoyed fishing and was a successful and proud deer hunter. She and Bill were active volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and Second Harvest Food Bank.
She was preceded in death by both husbands; her parents; and stepson, Thomas Robinson.
Survivors include children, Daniel R. (Elizabeth) Tiller, Sr., Alan Tiller, Anne Tiller, Thomas A. Tiller, and Lori Reynolds (Kim Palmer); five stepchildren; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Marvin Talbot; sister, Constance Cramer; numerous extended family; and her little dog, Sissy.
Farewell Services and Public Livestream 1:00 P.M. Friday, St. Peter Lutheran Church. Interment Mount Auburn Cemetery. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service. The family suggests memorial contributions to St. Peter Lutheran Church.
