A 72-year-old inmate at the St. Joseph prison has died.
The Missouri Department of Corrections reports Idalberto Aliaga died of apparent natural causes at the Western Reception, Diagnostic & Correctional Center in St. Joseph.
Aliaga had been incarcerated on a charge of murder and armed criminal action since 1993.
