Helen Marie (Estes) Bosch, 84, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Aspire of Platte City, MO.
Helen was born February 10, 1941, in Leavenworth, KS to William Campbell and Catherine Mary (Breiner) Estes. She was a 1958 graduate of Leavenworth High School; afterwards she trained in bookkeeping while working for Barlow’s Wholesale Co. in Leavenworth. Over the years Helen worked as a bookkeeper for Leavenworth Bus Co., Rusty Eck Ford; and the Leavenworth County Treasurer’s office. Helen married John William Bosch on May 25, 1961, at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Independence, MO, where she continued to be a member. She loved helping her husband John on the family farm doing the books, working in tobacco, and cooking for the farm hands. Helen also enjoyed writing poetry.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband John; and a sister Ruth Kincaid. Helen is survived by her children: Daniel, Ernest, and Gail (Christopher) Breite; 2 grandchildren Max and Graham; and her sister Catherine Bolte.
A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 2, 2026, at Graceland Cemetery in Weston. Memorial contributions can be given in Helen’s memory to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Arrangements By: Vaughn Funeral Home, Weston, MO.
